BIR Advisory: Proof of Filing via Offline eBIRForms

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has released Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 20-2026 to remind taxpayers of an important step when filing through the Offline eBIRForms Package.

When submitting your tax return through the system, a pop-up message will appear confirming that a system-generated email has been sent to your registered email address.

Taxpayers are advised to take a screenshot of this pop-up message. This screenshot serves as your official proof of filing and successful submission.

The screenshot may be presented to the Authorized Agent Bank (AAB) when paying the corresponding tax due.

By following this simple step, taxpayers can ensure smoother transactions, avoid delays, and maintain compliance with BIR requirements.
