Key changes to the new check format include:

Date:

Each character of the Issue Date now has its own designated box, following the numeric format MM-DD-YYYY. For example, if issuing a check on May 30, 2024, you should write its numeric equivalent, 05-30-2024. Checks with Issue Dates in alphanumeric format will no longer be accepted by banks.

Amount in Figures:

Write the amount in figures within the provided box. Note that there’s no need to include the peso sign, as it’s already indicated outside the box.

Signature:

Sign your check within the box provided on the lower right side. The traditional signature lines have been replaced with designated boxes for this purpose.
